The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet Noblesville High School, Noblesville, IN    January – February 2011
Advertised for and conducted auditions with Freshmen theatre students, cast roles, facilitated workshops for acting, scene, prop, and sound design, created schedules and design-need lists, directed cast and crew in rehearsals and production meetings.  Facilitated filming rehearsals for a short film to precede the performance.

Love’s Labour’s Lost Seminary Park, Noblesville, IN    May 2010 – August 2010
Facilitated production meetings, maintained communication with the producer and the Noblesville Arts Commission, created schedules and design-need lists, directed actors to pursue objects and play actions, led warm ups, recorded rehearsal notes, researched recontextualization accuracy. Designed and created props.

Forensic Team Noblesville High School, Noblesville, IN    August 2007 – June 2011
Lead Speech Team rehearsals, recruit new members, facilitate discussions, direct monologues and dialogues for competition. Create and maintain budget, organize fundraisers, host tournaments, maintain accurate records with the National Forensic League and Indiana High School Forensic Association.

Drama and Puppetry Teacher Music/Arts Camp United Methodist Fellowship, MD     Summers of 2004 – 2005
Provided instruction for drama classes, a liturgical drama class and a puppetry class composed of middle and high school students. Directed four performances of varying styles. Organized an Improv show with four classes.

Private Violin and Piano Teacher Downham Music, Anderson, IN      Spring 2006 – Fall 2007
Structured weekly private violin and piano lessons for elementary and middle school students, focusing on musical growth and proficiency and assessing performances.

One day of meetings with Indiana House and Senate representatives, such as André Carson, and their aides advocating for the benefits of the Hoosier Writing Project. Presentations included student samples, classroom data, and teacher testimonies.

An inspirational speech for the students and faculty of Anderson University at the annual Senior Chapel. Three speakers were chosen to represent the senior class. Presentation included my journey from humiliation to confidence.

Musical Theatre Summer Camp Intern Joyful Sounds School of Music, MD    June – August 2006
Implemented marketing, budgeting, and scheduling of the two-week day camp to prepare Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. Managed directors and designers, communicated with parents and supporters, and coached 7-16 year olds in acting and costume design.

Comedy Sportz Actlete and Coach Comedy Sportz, Indianapolis, IN    November 2005 – current
Perform comedy improv scenes with a team of improv actors for audiences at Comedy Sportz arena, local businesses, and high schools. Attend weekly rehearsals and workshops for long-form improv, scene work, character development, and group dynamics. Facilitate rehearsals and workshops with high school students at Noblesville High School, plan and implement performances in Indianapolis and area high schools.
